Dicing - for individual formats
Precise Dicing for Custom Formats
Using four semi-automatic wafer saws, we produce high-precision cuts for substrates up to 100 × 100 mm in size and up to 3.95 mm thick. In addition to standardized rectangular formats, custom shapes can also be realized. A feed rate of up to 2.0 mm/s ensures precise processing in accordance with DIN and MIL standards.
Pick & Place - Automated sorting & inspection
Our automated vision inspection checks the surface quality on both sides and sorts the diced substrates into 2″ waffle packs. Up to 25 wafers can be processed per pass and selected according to A and B classification in accordance with ISO and MIL standards.
Cleaning - for optimum surface quality
For maximum purity and quality, we offer an ultrasonic cleaning system that removes the finest impurities before and after dicing. Our specially adapted cleaning section ensures an optimum surface finish and is suitable for substrates from 10 × 10 mm (smaller dimensions on request).
Quality Control - for maximum precision
Depending on the requirements, the final inspection of the glass polarizers is carried out either automatically or manually.
- Automatic inspection: A fully automatic inspection system checks up to 25 wafers simultaneously and sorts them according to defined specifications - naturally in accordance with ISO and MIL standards.
- Manual inspection: Our experts analyze the substrates using high-resolution digital microscopes and detect the finest defects or irregularities.
